Hello Families,

We’ve had another fantastic week and are excited to share our updates with you! First, a quick reminder that our Footy Tipping competition is back for 2025. If you’d like to check out the prizes and register, please visit this page. You’ll be able to access the app and join in the fun right away!

This week, we celebrated Tell a Fairytale Day! The children dressed up in beautiful costumes, and we had a day full of fun activities, face painting, and of course, plenty of reading. It was such a magical day as we explored different fairytales and brought the stories to life.

On Thursday, we had our weekly Plant to Plate program, which continues to be a highlight of our week. This week, we were lucky enough to have Educator Jayde’s grandmother, Maree, join us to help with our gardening activities. We planted new seeds, refreshed our flower garden at the front, and made sure our veggie gardens were well watered. This program is so vital as it teaches the children about the importance of nature, where food comes from, and how we can care for the environment. It’s a fantastic hands on experience that also encourages teamwork and responsibility.

The warm weather also brought plenty of water play opportunities, which the children absolutely loved. One of the highlights was our ice activity, where the children had to free the animals that were frozen in water. It’s always a big hit! Water play is so important as it promotes sensory development and fine motor skills. Through these activities, the children practice coordination and concentration as they manipulate the water, ice, and objects involved, all while keeping cool!

It’s been a wonderful week of learning, fun, and exploration, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

Educator Spotlight…

This week, we would like to take a moment to give a special shout out to Mina. Mina is an incredible educator in our Kinder 3 room and is truly an asset to our team. She brings a warm, friendly, and welcoming presence every single day, not only to the children but also to their families.

Mina has built beautiful, meaningful relationships with the children, always going above and beyond to ensure they feel safe, valued, and supported. Her genuine care and attention to their well being are evident in everything she does. Whether it’s offering a reassuring word or engaging the children in exciting learning opportunities, Mina’s commitment to their growth and happiness shines through every day.

In addition to her incredible work with the children, Mina is also dedicated to her own professional growth. This year, she began her Masters of Education, and we couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and dedication she puts into both her studies and her role as an educator.

Thank you Mina, for being such a shining star in our community!
