Choklits has a minimum two-day enrolment requirement per child as attending for two days or more per week helps children to settle in quickly and to get the most out of our curriculum, programs and extra activities.

Places at Choklits are limited so we only offer them to families who have registered with us, a general enquiry or booking a centre tour doesn’t secure your place. The time it takes for families to be accepted varies from time to time. We offer places to families according to the date they registered with us list which can be requested up to two years in advance, or up to three years by special request.
The fee to register is $58 per child (non-refundable) so please get in touch if you wish to secure your place ASAP.

How do I enrol my child at Choklits?
The best way to start is to book a tour or make an enquiry with your nearest Choklits centre. We will show you the rooms, outdoor spaces, daily routines, meals, learning program and everything included in your fee. We will also take time to learn about your child, your family and what matters most to you.
After your tour, our team can guide you through the enrolment steps, answer fee and Child Care Subsidy questions, and help you get ready for your child’s first day. We want enrolment to feel simple, warm and stress free.
What age groups and childcare programs does Choklits offer?
Choklits offers long day care, early learning and Victorian Government-funded kindergarten for children from 6 weeks to 6 years. This includes nursery care for babies, toddler rooms, pre-kinder, three-year-old kinder and four-year-old kinder.
Our centres are designed to support every stage of early childhood. Your child can grow with familiar educators, caring routines and rich learning experiences from their first days in care through to school readiness.
What is included in the Choklits daily fee?
Choklits uses an all-inclusive daily fee model, so families do not need to worry about lots of extra charges. Your daily fee includes fresh meals, nappies, bedding, sunscreen, daily essentials, learning experiences, incursions, excursions and our CHOKLITS+ programs.
This means children can join in fully. We do not want children to miss out because a special activity costs more. At Choklits, the extra value is built into the day.
Do Choklits families pay extra for music, yoga, sport or excursions?
No. Many child care centres charge extra for added programs, but at Choklits they are included in your daily fee. Through CHOKLITS+, children enjoy rich experiences such as music and movement, yoga, sport, language classes, cooking, messy play, library visits, bush kinder, incursions and excursions.
These programs help children build confidence, creativity, movement skills, social skills and a love of learning. They also give families great value, because the cost is already included.
How much will child care cost after the Child Care Subsidy?
Your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your family’s Child Care Subsidy. In most cases, eligible families do not pay the full daily fee. You pay the gap between the Choklits daily fee and the amount the government pays toward your care.
Your subsidy can depend on your family income, how many children you have in care, your child’s age, your activity level and the type of care you use. You will need to apply through myGov, and our team can help explain how it works and guide you through a fee estimate.
Does Choklits offer funded three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten?
Yes. Choklits offers funded three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten programs with the Kinder Tick. Our kindergarten programs are led by qualified early childhood teachers and are built into our long day care model.
This is helpful for busy families because children can take part in a funded kinder program while still enjoying long day care hours, meals, rest time, play-based learning and care during school holidays.
How will Choklits help my child settle on their first day?
We know the first day of child care is a big moment for children and families. Before your child starts, we take time to learn about their routines, comfort needs, sleep, meals, interests and personality. This helps us make their first days feel safe and familiar.
Our educators build warm, trusting relationships with children. We use calm routines, gentle support and clear communication with families. You will also receive updates through our communication app, so you can see how your child is settling and what they are enjoying.
How does Choklits keep children safe?
Child safety is at the heart of everything we do. Choklits meets all 11 Victorian Child Safe Standards and operates as a Child Safe Organisation. We are also guided by the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
Safety at Choklits includes strong policies, safe environments, child-focused practices, family communication and ongoing team training. Our goal is for every child to feel safe, seen, respected and cared for every day.
What will my child learn each day at Choklits?
At Choklits, children learn through play, discovery, relationships and real-life experiences. Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework. This means your child is learning while they build, sing, climb, cook, garden, talk, move, create, solve problems and make friends.
Play-based learning helps children grow social skills, language, early maths and literacy, confidence, independence and school readiness. We believe learning is everywhere, and our educators help children notice it, explore it and build on it each day.
