I love working in early education because I truly enjoy being around children and watching them grow a little more each day. Seeing them learn new skills in a safe and happy environment gives me a strong sense of purpose. I believe that children learn best when they feel supported, respected and encouraged, and I love being part of that journey.
Throughout my career I’ve been most proud of building strong, trusting relationships with the children I work with. When a child who used to be shy starts to open up, smile more, or feel safe enough to try something new, it reminds me why I chose this career. Those small milestones mean a lot to me.
When I’m not at Choklits, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, and exploring new places. I also love skiing and challenging myself with new experiences. These things help me recharge and keep a positive mindset.
One of the cutest things a child said to me was, “You’re my favourite because you always listen to me.” It was a simple sentence, but it touched me deeply. It reminded me that small moments of patience and kindness mean everything to children.
