Ash has worked in early learning for 2 years and is an Educator at Choklits in Surrey Hills. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

I am passionate about early childhood education because it lays the foundation for lifelong learning and development. Witnessing the joy and curiosity of young learners inspires me every day, as I strive to create a nurturing environment where each child feels valued and empowered to explore their world. I believe that fostering creativity, critical thinking, and social skills at this stage can shape confident, compassionate individuals ready to take on future challenges.
I have focused on creating engaging and interactive activities that spark children’s curiosity and creativity. I take pride in designing hands-on learning experiences that cater to diverse interests and learning styles, helping each child thrive. Fostering a dynamic classroom environment where play and exploration are at the heart of learning, ensuring that every child feels excited to discover something new each day and being someone that the children can trust is something I’ve been proud of.
When I’m not at Choklits I enjoy exploring different places of the country and drawing, which is one of my hobbies.
While at work there would be a student that come sits by me everyday with his book about the solar system and he would always go through each page of the book with me, reading out loud the names of the planets and all other things in the solar system. To me, this moment was very beautiful because the child still did not understand the english language yet found a way to communicate one of his biggest interests to me.
