Over to Simmi…
I love working in early education and care because I find great joy in watching them grow and develop. Their unconditional love is truly rewarding, and I enjoy supporting their learning and development. I like understanding their individual cues and needs, and creating a nurturing, engaging, and secure environment where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Seeing children learn, explore, and thrive brings me immense satisfaction.
One of my proudest moments as an educator was supporting a visually impaired child in their learning journey. With guidance from professionals and a better understanding of inclusive practices, I provided learning experiences that met the child’s needs and helped the child feel included. Over time, I built a strong bond and gained the child’s trust. The child became more confident and independent in daily activities. Seeing the child’s growth, confidence, and happiness was incredibly rewarding.
When I’m not at Choklits I enjoy cooking for my family and friends, spending quality time with my loved ones, and reading books and crocheting in my free time.
I love it when children try to say my name, Simmi, and it comes out as “Mimmi.” It’s so cute and heartwarming, and it always makes me happy. Those small moments are very special to me.
