Hello Families,
Although it was a shorter week, it was packed with big moments, bright smiles, and beautiful learning at Choklits Ringwood.
Highlights from the week…
The highlight of our week was without a doubt the messy play session led by the amazing Asten! This month’s theme, Dinosaurs, is an all-time favourite at Choklits Ringwood, and Asten absolutely nailed it. Knowing how much our children love everything dino-related, Asten created a sensory experience full of textures, bright green colours, and hands-on fun that captured everyone’s attention.
The children loved exploring “fossils,” getting their hands dirty, and letting their curiosity and imagination run wild. It was a roaring success and a wonderful way to spark learning through play!
This week, Tom from Music and Rhythm has been a standout favourite once again! The children always look forward to his energetic sessions, and Tom never disappoints, bringing big smiles, groovy moves, and the best tunes for our little learners.
This week’s theme was “A Trip Around the World,” and Tom took the children on a musical adventure! They sang in French, learned the AUSLAN sign for the train, and enjoyed two fantastic songs: “The Australia Song” and “A Sailor Went to Sea.” It was a wonderful way to blend rhythm, culture, and language in a fun, hands-on way.

Yoga with Tanya has also been a hit this week! The focus has been all about balance, and the children have been exploring this theme using balancing boards. Through this fun and interactive session, they are learning how to find stability on unfamiliar and wobbly surfaces. Not only are they building leg and core strength, but they’re also engaging their minds to develop body awareness and coordination. It’s been a fantastic way to strengthen both muscles and focus, all while having a great time!
Kids in the Kitchen with Jordan has been a delightful experience for everyone! This engaging activity has brought the children together to bake healthy cakes in celebration of their friends’ birthdays. It’s been a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about measuring quantities, explore new ingredients, and expand their vocabulary, all while enjoying the process of baking. The rooms have been filled with laughter, learning, and the sweet smell of success!
