Over to Jenny…
I take pride in working in early childhood education and care because I believe education, especially the early years of education, is the key to developing the next generation, and I think it is incredibly fulfilling to play a part in that. Therefore, as a teacher, it is my desire and responsibility to help students to reach their full potential.
In my career I’ve been most proud of completing my bachelors degree in Early Years and Primary. Most importantly, to look back over the past years and realise that I have helped children feel more comfortable with learning, to step out and try something new in a safe and nurturing environment. I may not see how it affects the course of their life, but I know for a period of time, I was able to tend to a child’s emotional, physical, and intellectual health. I am also proud to be part of the Choklits community where I have grown professionally and personally.
In my spare time, you will find me travelling, doing Pilates, yoga, watching movies or spending time with my dogs Billy and Willow and loved ones.
The funniest and cutest thing a child has ever said to me was “Jenny, will you marry me?”.
