Ruby Zuo

Ruby holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and works at Choklits in Ringwood. Over to Ruby... I love working in early education and care because becoming a child care educator has opened the door to a whole new world for me, introducing me to a field that is entirely new. Although I’ve only recently entered this profession, I know for certain that I love children—their innocence, their purity—and I especially enjoy the person I become when I’m with them. After having my first child, I was a full-time mum for several years. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I even started my own coffee shop, running it for over two years. I’ve always pursued what I wanted to do without hesitation and tried not to have regrets. After selling the shop, I had my second baby, which made me think about what kind of job would allow me to balance caring for my children and managing my household, while also achieving my own sense of value in my work. Talisha Doran

My personal philosophy revolves around Jean Piaget's theory where play is the answer to how anything new comes about. I believe that every child is a curious, competent learner who will succeed when placed in a supportive and nurturing environment. Matt Reynolds

Matt (along with his wife, Jade) owns and runs Choklits. Sue Brewer

Sue is our Group Admin Support and has been at Choklits Child Care Centre for over 28 years. In March 2022, the Herald Sun crowned Sue Brewer Melbourne's Best Child Care Worker. She has touched many families’ lives and cared for hundreds of children. Rohan Merryweather

Rohan is the Grounds and Maintenance Officer across our Choklits Campuses and is a qualified landscape gardener.  Over to Rohan… I love working in early education and care because everyday is enjoyable especially to see the children play outside in the areas that I have helped transform and maintain. Paris Ille

Tracey has been with Choklits for over 19 years and has played an integral part in the education of many young children’s lives. Welcome to the team Elly! Elly has joined our growing Choklits team in our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Room. Elly finished Year 12 last year and is undertaking a traineeship with us to obtain her Certificate III. Elly has done over 1000 hours of volunteering in child care and is very passionate about working with children. She believes that “Children need to experience differences to be happy with theirs”. Elly has cerebral palsy and works with her abilities to manage for this. Karen Swale

Karen holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and works across all our rooms at Choklits.
